The Paris Olympics is done and dusted, but the legacy of the Olympic Games remains embroiled with questions of uncertainty in terms of infrastructural costs, environmental concerns, etc. Research Paper aims to examine the economics of the Olympics, with special emphasis on comparative analysis on the Olympics hosted by developing and developed countries, along with a study of the negative and positive effects of hosting it.

Our Team
Program Lead

Nandini is currently a third-year student, pursuing an Economics major in Research. She’s passionate about sustainability, ESG, Governance, and renewable energy.
She has worked with a startup on strategizing an end-to-end go-to-market strategy for residential solar.
She is also the president of Girl Up, Amity School of Economics. She naturally leads different teams, guides them to impactful initiatives, and turns ideas into action. Her leadership style is defined by a blend of strategic thinking, empathy, and a commitment to empowering those around her.
Apart from her work pursuits, she is a personal growth and development aficionado, a dedicated tennis player, and an athlete.

Armaan Choudhary is an incoming SBI Youth For India Fellow, 2024, currently, working as an intern (policy consulting) at Chase India. He is an undergaduate in BA (Hons) in Political Science, from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. He has previously worked as a legislative intern at the Office of Dr. Amar Patnaik, Member of the Rajya Sabha, as a fellow at Youth Internet Governance Forum India, and as Program Host of the Digital Champions Program at Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC). He also worked as the Vice President of Enactus Kirori Mal College managing three projects in Delhi NCR on the theme of social entrepreneurship. His interest lies in the field of public policy, (Internet Governance, Health, Education) and international relations.​​​​

Aditya Prakash Magdum is a final year Public Policy postgraduate student at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. He is particularly interested in the areas of Urban Development, Digital Governance and Policy Evaluation and Intervention. He hails from Kerala and Maharashtra and is well exposed to all regions of the country throughout his childhood. In his free time, he likes to watch films and read fiction thrillers.
